Tuesday's Talk With D
Those who
fail to plan, plan to fail.

We currently have 30 days left in the year of 2014. Have you
thought about your plans, dreams, goals, and vision for 2015? If you have kudos
to you! If you haven’t, what are you waiting for? For the next five Tuesday’s, to
finish off the month of December, we will discuss several career or personal strategies
to get you mentally prepared for the upcoming year.
The strategies will consist of questions to get you to thinking
about your plans for the upcoming year. Plans can change at any given time, BUT
having a plan in place can help guide you towards a successful year. I look
forward to helping you narrow down some goals you’ve stuck in the back of your
mind. We want to get those out of the back of your mind and place them in the
front of your mind. The objective is to identify your goals and write them down
on paper to make them more likely to achieve. And the Lord answered me: “Write the vision;
make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its
appointed time; it hastens to the end-it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait
for it; it will surely come; it will not delay. Habakkuk 2 2-3So here’s your first question and something for you to think about as we take a look into your mind to get you to thinking about the upcoming year.
Have you figured out your purpose in life?
Are you doing something that you are passionate about? Realistically, we all have to work a full-time job to pay our bills. Some are fortunate enough to work in a field that they are passionate about and get paid while doing so. If that’s not the case with you, there’s still an opportunity to pursue what you are passionate about on the side.
With that being said, take some time and think about what’s in
your heart to do this upcoming year. What
do you enjoy doing? Whether it’s professional or personal, let 2015 be your year
to accomplish what’s in your heart.
