“Growth
is not a matter of learning new information but of unlearning old limits.”~

Growth is not for the faint of heart.
It is hard work.
It does not happen overnight.
I feel I need to reiterate, it is hard work.
Again, it is not something you can blink your eyes and it
happens.
It is self-reflection, self-evaluation, and come to Jesus
moments with yourself.
When you make a decision that you want to grow, many things
happen.
You will be met with all kind of resistance.
Yasssss, you will see obstacles come from your left and your
right.
Growing doesn’t exempt you from life happenings. If anything,
that is when you are attacked more.
And, although all of these things are true, growth when
embraced and worked, is phenomenal.
Here are 3 of many things that occur when you grow:
1.
People Fall Off – Although growth is for
everyone, it isn’t for everyone. I know that sounds crazy but it is the truth. Some
people don’t want to change for the better. They are happy doing the same old
thing. So, remember when you make a decision you want to change remember YOU
made the decision not them. Anytime you make the decision to grow, you will leave
people behind. And, you have to be ok with that.
2.
Your Mindset Change - You begin to look at
different point of views when situations occur instead of being closed minded.
Your days begin to look different than previously. You come to understand,
that, not all things deserve your attention or response. You learn to pick and
choose your battles. Things that was once important no longer matter. It is
really a wonderful place to be.
3.
You Level Up - You find yourself wanting to be
more productive than normal. You build more productive habits. Simply put, you
get on your SHIT!!! Procrastination is no longer in your vocabulary. It is all
about handling your business to get to the next level and the next. Once this
happens you realize you have achieve more than you could have ever thought
about.
Growing is about becoming the best version of yourself. It is
about gaining wisdom and knowledge and then finding ways to apply it to your
life. It is realizing everyone is not meant to travel your journey with you. Growth
simply put is making the best out of where you are, while working towards where
you want to be.
